How To Ensure C-level And Community Speak The Same Language | Community ROI with Shannon Emery

In this episode, we discussed the importance of translating community initiatives into measurable business value while maintaining a human-centered approach 🚀
2

"People get what empathy does. They understand why connection is important and stuff like that. So I end up taking away a lot of that fluffy language when I'm talking to a C-level, right?

They understand the power of connection. They wouldn't be C-level if they didn't understand networking and things like that, just from one perspective of community, right?

So it's actually instead of saying, "Oh, well, we're here to connect people so that their lives are full of joy and happiness."

It says, "You understand the value of networking. What we're doing is making sure our members can connect with each other, which will lead to retention for the business because they're being taken care of by us."
